A Petit Sampling Etui
January 9th:
This might not look like much progress to the casual observer, but I finished all of the queen stitch flowers in the border, the first row of the alphabet, and started the second row. Since the alphabet is over one and I can only stitch it when I haven't been staring at a computer screen all day I'm actually pleased with my progress.
For the next update I hope to be finished with this square and well under way on the next one.
Carol, looks like you got a lot done to me. :) The colors in this sampler are so pretty. Great job!!
ReplyDeletewhat wonderful choice of colours - this is going to look stunning when complete
ReplyDeleteWell done on the progress! Only a stitcher can understand how long even little progress takes. Good luck on getting the project finished.
ReplyDeleteLooking good Carol! You have done quite a bit of the alphabet and I love the way it looks. Happy Stitching!
ReplyDeleteIt is just looking wonderful. I am plowing thru some o/o myself right now. My eyes get tired too quick for it.
ReplyDeleteOh, I think stitchers know that "square inches covered" isn't always the most accurate measure of accomplishment. *nod* It's looking really good, and I think you got a lot done! :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLooks like great progress to me!
ReplyDeleteI'm another WIPocalypse stitcher. I just stopped by to say Fantastic Progress. Every stitch you make it one stitch closer to a finish. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteHi Carol, I too am WIPocalypsing it. Beautiful progress...I love the Queens stitch, but it does take more time than the easy xstitches. I'll post in a day or so....Until the next full moon...may your needle glide through the fabric.
ReplyDeleteOH cute I like the little house.
ReplyDeleteWonderful progress, it is so pretty.. I shall be back to see your progress
ReplyDeleteHappy stitchy wishes
Chris xx
Thanks everyone. Only stitchers could look at that small amount of change and see it as real progress :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteLooking great! I definitely see progress!
